Islamic Center Youth Participate in Interfaith Project to Benefit the Earth

CINCINNATI, OH, October 2, 2015 – High school students from each of the three major religions will gather this Sunday, October 4th at 3:00 p.m. at the Imago Nature Center at 700 Enright Avenue to join together in constructing a butterfly garden. Through the Initiative celebrating the 50thanniversary of the encyclical Nostra Aetate, students from the Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati, the Jewish Youth Group of the Mayerson Jewish Community Center, and Mother of Mercy High School will work together in both equality and reverence to care for the earth, our common home, to show that religion can be a force for peace a goodwill in our world today.
